All of these models incorporate subtle cosmetic touches and equipment upgrades. Additionally, each Columbia Edition Jeep comes with a complimentary Columbia parka.

Pros:
  • Powerful 4.7-liter V8, all-terrain capability, roomy comfort for four.
Cons:
  • Noisy and unrefined, questionable reliability, trucklike on-road handling.

THIS IS A SECOND TIME BACK TO BACK BUYER OG JEEP, MY PREVIOUS WAS A USED 1999 LMT V-8 JEEP. I AM IMPRESSED WITH THE COMFORT OF THE 2004 MODEL OVER THE 1999. IMMEDIATE RESPONSE FROM THE V-8 ENGINE IS UNSERPASSED AND NICE TO HAVE THE USE.

Bought a New 2004 Grand Cherokee and Love it. I use it for my daily commute as well as for off-road adventures and it handles well for both. The navigation system is great especially being able to post breadcrumbs.

My first truck. Was going to buy another sedan but decided to try the jeep. I am so glad I did. I love everything about it! So many people give compliments on it, moreso than my last luxury car.

My wife has all ways wanted a jeep, so last july she got the jeep she wanted. we havent had the jeep that long, but have alway driven dodge products, and have had very little problems with them. I think that the products will become some of the best made American cars on the road.

  • NO MORE MOPAR! - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

This is the 2nd Jeep vehicle I had purchased and the last! The first had a defect in the head from the manufacturer and this one had a a constant vibration coming from the transmission. No help from Chrysler for either. NO MORE MOPAR!

  • 2004 GC Laredo (4.0L I6) - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Previously owned a 96 Laredo 4x4 (purchased in 2000) and loved it. Perhaps the most reliable vehicle I ever owned. 240,000 miles with only minor maintenance and still eating up miles (my son has it now). I bought the 2004 Laredo twelve years later to replace it, I had to have the indestructable I6 engine! Very pleased with it so far. It rides more comfortably than my old Jeep and looks sharper (Silver with black trim and a dark grey interior). If it holds up as well as my previous Jeep Laredo I will be most pleased. Maintenance is just a fact of life in all vehicles, regardless of make /model. If youre fortunate (like I was), it all minor maintenance and wearable parts.

Although this SUV is nice looking with off-road capability, buyer beware that it will likely leave you stranded on the side of the road at some point. Thats what happended to me and I regret not paying closer attention to its reliability reviews. Purchased brand new, Ive had the vehicle for less than 1.5 years and found many quality concerns: overheated engine, repeatedly detaching door panel, leaks in engine and transmission, faulty gas cap... Just about every section has had some sort of problem requiring multiple trips to dealer.
